Lake Havasu City, AZ - Today Heaven received another angel and one heck of a cowboy. Tony was born September 10, 1949, in Monterey Park, California, to Hilda Elizabeth Linblad and Louis Jackson Carter.

He went to school in California, and worked different jobs so he could race cars. He was working on a race car when he met the love of his life. Tony and Paula Jo Valdez were married on December 1, 1972. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1976 during the Vietnam War.

Tony moved his family to Utah, where he worked at Williams International. He made some great friends and had lifetime experiences when he worked for the Weber/Anderson Livestock Auction and Slash C Rodeo Company. Tony loved the rodeo life and made a point to cherish every memory.

Survived by his wife, Paula; sons: Joseph (Jana), Benjamin (Brittany), and Jason Carter. Tony had nine grandchildren who he adored and loved: Dakota, Dallon, Daemin, Shiann, Cade, Luke, Austin, Jailynn, and Rilyn. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 5 p.m. at 2408 W. 2300 N, Clinton.
